Nervous System & Reality Crafting: The Missing Piece for Health, Wealth, and Abundance

I’ve been feeling lately — and I know I’m not alone — that the next couple of years are going to bring massive change. Like, unrecognizable on the other side, but in a beautiful way. And as we move through this time, tending to our vitality, our vibration, and especially our nervous system feels more essential than ever.
Inside my membership, I’ve been weaving in more support for this. Because when it comes to growing our capacity — for abundance, for what’s possible, for the fullness of life — our nervous system is at the heart of it all. Last month, I ran a workshop on emotions, the nervous system, and your cosmic blueprint — we dove into why processing our emotions in real time, and dealing with those trapped, subconscious bits of us, is so important for both health and wealth.
But today, I want to go deeper into the why. I want to talk about something I’ve been doing wrong for years, not out of ignorance, but because the science is only now catching up and showing us a different way. Like many of us, I’ve ping-ponged from one new shiny tool to another. But this work? It’s deep healing, wholeness work. It’s not about quick fixes (though quick wins do come! - I’ve heard so many from those now moving thru the Nervous System resource), but about giving ourselves the time to rewire old patterns that have kept us stuck.
Here’s what I’ve realized: The nervous system isn’t just another piece of the puzzle — it is the puzzle. It’s our anatomical system for manifestation. It’s our built-in guidance system. Our connection to our creator self + Source. And it’s what makes or breaks our ability to feel safe enough to expand.
You’ve probably felt it yourself — that stuck feeling, like you’re doing all the right things (the affirmations, the visualizations, the healing protocols), but it’s just not landing. That’s because real, sustainable change doesn’t come from thinking our way into safety. The nervous system has to feel it first.
Let’s bring in a bit of the science here. Our autonomic nervous system (ANS) governs everything we do without thinking: heart rate, breath, digestion, reproduction, immunity. It includes the vagus nerve, the biggest nerve in the body, which has gotten a lot of attention lately. A healthy, functioning vagus nerve? That’s what “getting in the vortex” is really about. It’s what lets us feel safe enough to receive.
The ANS has three main states:
• Sympathetic (fight/flight/freeze) – a protective survival pattern, fine in the short term but not meant to be chronic.
• Dorsal (collapse, shutdown) – an out-of-alignment parasympathetic state when long term, also protective but when stuck here, it’s hard to feel motivated or engaged.
• Ventral vagal (rest, digest, connect) – our natural healing and manifesting state. This is where our body can settle, restore, and thrive.
So many of us are stuck toggling between sympathetic and dorsal states, never really settling into the ventral vagal zone where true healing and expansion can happen. And the truth is, this ventral state is our aligned state — it’s where we manifest, where we feel safe, where we tap into that juicy, abundant flow.
Here’s the kicker: 80% of the communication between your body and your brain actually goes from the body to the brain (not the other way around!). That’s why bottom-up approaches — the somatic work, the body-based practices — are so crucial. Mindset work is still valuable, but it’s only part of the picture. If we’re trying to think our way out of collapse, or force our mindset to shift while our body is still stuck in old protective patterns, it’s like planting seeds in frozen soil. Nothing takes root.
I see this play out in chronic health issues, too. Conditions that seem to shift around — pain in the neck one week, digestive issues the next, the autoimmune bucket — are often symptoms of a nervous system that doesn’t feel safe to let go and settle. The real healing happens when we drop into the ventral vagal state long enough for our body to remember how to heal itself.

And it’s why I believe this nervous system piece is so key for this next phase of collective change. Change itself is dysregulating — it’s different, and our systems perceive different as a threat. But the more capacity we build in our nervous system, the more ease we’ll feel as we move through these shifts. The more we can be with what’s here, process our emotions in real time (instead of stuffing them down), and return to a place of safety, the more we’ll find ourselves naturally aligned with the abundance and vitality we’re calling in.
This isn’t about bypassing the mindset work or ignoring the cosmic cycles — those still matter. But if you’ve been feeling stuck, like you’re doing all the things and still not seeing movement, this might be the missing link.
Because ultimately, the language of the nervous system isn’t verbal. It’s somatic. And as we move forward into this new paradigm, this deeper layer of body-based work feels like one of the most important pieces we can focus on — for our health, for our wealth, and for the kind of life that feels spacious and alive.
