Becoming vs. Waiting
What would devotion look like if you knew your desire was inevitable? If you could trust it was all unfolding in your favor — how would you show up today?
This is one of the most powerful questions in manifestation. How to truly act “as if”.
Because it shifts you out of waiting… and into becoming.
Out of clenching… and into trusting.
Out of proving… and into presence.
When we live from the energy of it already being ours, we stop reinforcing the gap between us and our desire.
We become the version of ourselves who can hold it.
And when we can hold it? It finds us faster.
This isn’t about pretending or bypassing.
It’s about regulating your system to feel safe now.
To live like you’re already inside the life you’re calling in.
To act as if it’s here — not to trick the universe—but to become a match for it. To literally resonate with your desired future.
1. Regulate your nervous system to cultivate greater flexibility and capacity.
If you knew it was happening, you wouldn’t be in fight-or-flight. So show your body it’s safe now.
Make it part of your daily rhythm:
• Orient + practice at least 5-10 minutes of bottoms up regulating/flexiblity practices first thing in the morning.
• Gentle fascia flossing, breathwork + short nervous system work breaks throughout your day.
• Pause, rest and/or recalibrate before you burn out (be especially mindful of OPEN root, sacral and/or willpower centers).
2. Make decisions from your future self.
Ask: What would the version of me who already has this choose?
Would they stress over this email or trust the timing? Would they say yes to this opportunity or wait for alignment?
3. Tend to your environment like you’re already that person.
Clear the clutter, upgrade your workspace, align with your Human Design Environment x Feng Shui, set the table beautifully. Embodying the frequency often means moving through your space differently too.
4. Speak differently about your life.
Watch your language:
Instead of “I’m trying to…” → “I’m in process.”
“It’s not working” → “It’s landing, just not visible yet.”
“I hope…” → “I trust…”
5. Say no to misaligned invitations.
If you knew the right thing was coming, you wouldn’t overfunction or say yes out of fear. Practice letting go of crumbs. This signals belief in better.
6. Anchor into pleasure, even in small ways.
The version of you who knows it’s happening isn’t waiting for the outcome to feel good. They find ways to enjoy now: a longer shower, dressing for your future, music while working, fresh flowers on the counter. If you’re like me a multi-beverage game while working that feels like luxury.
7. Celebrate “MICRO-proofS”
Track synchronicities, internal shifts, tiny wins. Celebrate them like they mean something — because they do. Momentum is made in the micro. AMPLIFY! Do something special to honor it, really FEEL into receiving, dance around, LITERALLY jump for joy. If you did the Harvest journey with B+F you know how powerful “jumping for joy” daily can be, even if you fake it for awhile till you make it.
8. Time-block from your desire, not your to-do list.
Prioritize what nourishes and aligns you. This includes creation, rest, connection — not just hustle.
9. Keep showing up to your practices—even if you’re tired or doubting.
Faith is a frequency. Keep dripping into the field. You don’t have to feel perfect, just devoted.
10. Ask better questions.
Instead of “Why isn’t it here yet?” → “What wants to be seen/shifted/strengthened in me to hold this?”
This helps you act as a co-creator, not a victim of timing.
Devotion is powerful. You got this!
