A different look at the libra full moon
We have a FULL MOON in LIBRA this week on the evening of the 1st of April at 12* — and most people will be talking about balance and harmony and fairness and relationship dynamics and all of those things are important and quintessential Libra. Anytime we have a FULL MOON on the Aries/Libra axis it is going to be somewhat about that push pull between self and other. Between individuation and merging. But I want to talk about something else that I think is pivotal at this moment in time as we continue along the birth canal of a new paradigm.
ALL of the Gates of Libra (except one) fall in the Spleen center in the Human Design bodygraph which is not just about health and vitality but largely about intuition. About sourcing truth from that still quiet voice within rather than the noise outside.
Full Moons are always about pivots. They are a time to reevaluate where we are, celebrate our wins and alter course where needed. They also tend to bring to the surface that which needs to be cleared. The Moon pulls at the tides and the waters (aka the crystalline matrix of fascia) in our bodies. It tugs at our emotions. It shows us what is no longer in alignment or balance, especially with Libra.
And this Full Moon is square Jupiter in Cancer which amplifies all it touches and brings our emotional bodies even more so to the table.
At the heart of Libra balance is actually a body knowing. A discernment that is felt from within before the mind organizes it into something palatable. The Spleen is immediate knowing. Sometimes a hushed whisper you barely catch. Following our intuition, following the raw truth sourced within, is often anything but easy, sometimes downright inconvenient.
THE NOISE
Full Moons ask us to clear the interference. Which is not always loud, not always trauma or chaos. Sometimes it’s a hum in your nervous system that never allows you to totally settle into your knowing, sometimes it is over-considering others, comparing yourself, trying to keep the peace or fit in, wanting to be liked, trying to “see both sides”, softening instincts so it lands easier. Sometimes it’s hedging against what you feel, not totally trusting, weighing pros and cons, and getting stuck up in your mind about it.
Jupiter in Cancer adds emotional volume. It asks you where old trapped emotional static is getting in the way of nervous system regulation (balance), kicking up noise that makes it impossible for you to hear your own truth. Swallowing our emotions is something we do to not rock the boat or appear unhinged in front of others or just as a habit long ago wired in — but it is maybe the main thing that keeps us stuck — whether it’s felt consciously or living in your subconscious keeping your nervous system in dysregulated states, your body braced, and often creating symptoms or pain in the body we can’t ever seem to heal or that seems always on the move.
Trapped emotions are always present when you are standing in one place wanting to be somewhere else. Clearing them out is the bridge to your desired future.
I think it’s fascinating that the only Libra gate NOT in the Spleen is Gate 46 in the Self center. This gate living in Libran air is actually ALL about embodiment. It drops the abstract into the soma.
One of the things we talk about A LOT over here is nervous system regulation and deconditioning. Because your intuition isn’t something you find. Your frequency isn’t something you find. Your authenticity isn’t something you find. It’s something you stop interfering with and full moons are always here to clear the interference. To your coherence.
This Full Moon takes place in Gate 48 which I think is REALLY fascinating for this moment when things will likely start to pick up some serious pace on the world stage with all planets direct, Mercury finally moving out of its shadow period, and so much Aries energy. This gate is about wisdom. But it’s also about trusting that you will know what you need to know when you need to know it. I was writing the closing email in a series I’ve been working on the other day and I was talking about the magic of living the questions. No one knows exactly how this will all play out, even those of us who have had intuitive hits about it for years and are following the cosmic implications.
We can’t know exactly what it will look like on the other side because we are also creating it right now collectively. We are raising in frequency to a place we can’t even really fathom from our conditioned minds. We can stay open, we can hold an energy and we can live in the possibilities while amplifying what we would like to see. But we also have to be able to let go of needing to have the answers.
There is so much beauty in being ok in the unknown because the unknown is pregnant with potential. This gate asks you to not let not knowing hold you back from vision. From intentional co-creation for yourself and the collective. From leading with love. And to trust in your connection with Source. It is important to remember that Libra is also very tied to the HEART and heart coherence is how we live the desired future into existence. It is a great time to revisit these Libra love notes I wrote during Libra season. Be the energy you wish to see more of.
Now more than ever, as we continue to find out that the world is not exactly what we thought it to be, it is important to tune back into truth. The one that lives in your deeper knowing, from your Higher Self, underneath the static, beneath the conditioning. Invite this full moon to help you become unavailable to that which interrupts the signal.
